Andrea Pinti

1st Grade

I am very excited to be your child’s First Grade Teacher!  My philosophy of teaching young children includes helping them learn in a structured but loving environment.  I want children to feel safe and confident that when they come to school each day, they have a teacher who believes in them and will push them to be their best.    I believe the traditional approach to teaching is the best way for students to acquire essential skills. Children also need repeated practice with new skills, as they are acquired.  I will work hard to foster a love of learning in each and every child to continue throughout their academic years.

About Me

My name is Andrea Pinti  and I live in Gilbert. I have a husband Jim, and two amazing daughters Abbie (15) and Sydney (12). Our girls keep us very busy, with their cheerleading activities and hockey games.  However, when I am not teaching or at sporting events, I enjoy being outside, cooking, going for walks and reading.

This will be my twentieth year of teaching.  I have my Elementary and Early Childhood Degrees with a Masters in Elementary Education.   I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and most recently Pre-K. This is my first year at Neely and I am so excited to be back with the Fantastic First Graders!   I feel very fortunate to be a teacher at Neely Traditional Academy with such amazing families and a wonderful welcoming staff.
